I would guesstimate Smokey was about 18 mos old when we found each other. It was late March about 35-40 degrees but very sunny. My dog and I had been on a trail walk. I got back, unlocked the truck and my dog hopped in and went straight to the back; totally ignoring the cat sitting in the passenger seat. He was used to cats as I had another one at home. Long story short, she spent the next 14 years with me and I enjoyed every one. She has now passed on to the next life and is catching up with the dog and other cat she met that day and I'm sure is enjoying laying in the sun that she loved so much. Thank you little girl for sharing your life with me. Save a spot for the rest of your family who will be along in the years to come. You are dearly missed.
