Molly was a rescue pup from the Blue Mountain Humane Society in La Grande, Oregon. She was 4 months old when I got her - a Border Collie. From the start she was the alpha in our pack of two. She and I were expelled from dog obedience class & told that we could only come back after I had established myself as the leader of the pack! Eventually I did, and we graduated dog obedience school. She was my constant companion for 15 years, and was a very good dog. She is buried near the family cabin in Imnaha, Oregon, her favorite place to go. Whenever we packed up to come home she would hide and it would take an hour to find and get her loaded into the car to come home. Now she doesn't have to leave the place she loved so much. I made her a quilt the day before she died and she is wrapped up in it for eternity. I miss her.
