Toby was my constant companion for 12 years. I travel doing my land appraisal work and Toby was with me on every trip. He rode in the back of my truck, and that was his home and secure place. I had heaters to heat the back when it was cold and opened windows so the truck air conditioning could cool the back in hot weather. He was very gentle and he never once growled at anyone. Everyone wants to know how I deal with the loss. I, and my family have had 7 different dogs that we have enjoyed and eventually had to put down. I now have the opportunity get another puppy and give it the same love and companionship I gave Toby and am sure he/she will enjoy their life with us as much.
