Our Lucy was the perfect black Lab - smart, sweet and gentle. The last two years of her long life she wasn't able to walk very far, so we purchased a Burley Tail Wagon bike trailer, which has a conversion kit to become a pet stroller. As goofy as this sounds, Lucy loved to ride in the Tail Wagon! She went for walk-rides nearly every day, rain or shine. We were able to take her with us when otherwise she would have had to stay home. And, of course, everyone we saw along our routes stopped to marvel at this beautiful 65-pound Lab riding like a princess in her cart! We treasure those memories and we know the Tail Wagon improved her quality of life during her geriatric years. She also spent every spring and summer afternoon in the sun outside, greeting every passerby, the mail carrier and every deliveryperson. She was famous in our neighborhood.
