When I first met Isabella (aka Missy Issy, Princess Prancy-Pants, the Pussy of Prevarication), she was a kitten in the Portland (Oregon) Humane Society. She looked up at me with her amber eyes and said, "If you take me home, I promise to sleep on your warm, clean clothes, barf on your pillow when I get sick, and absolutely destroy every roll of toilet paper you leave out for me." I knew she was my cat at that time and she fufilled all of her promises many times over. She survived five moves and nine other household cats (total) in each new location. She saved me from suicide.
