There really are no words for this incredible animal. He loved and engaged with his humans in ways that you don't see often. Rudy was a thief, a beggar and a peace maker. He made us cry and laugh. Our walls harbored significant slobber slings. His registered name was Cha-Ching. This turned out to be so true. The cost to treat Rudy's different conditions over the years was significant. None of us gave up. He made it to 8.5, which we are so grateful. Rudy lost his life to Wobblers disease On September 22. Over the years Rudy made numerous visits to WSU. He wasn't particularly fond of veterinarians and could be quite intimidating. He knew what worked for him. The staff and students always treated him with kindness and us with respect. We will always consider WSU. Vet Teaching Hospital home for our animal needs.
