Our loyal friend, the boys’ protector and the surveyor of the realm, Sadie Jarvis, went to sleep on this Dog Day the 7th of August. An open gate no longer has its allure, neighbors' cats no longer serve as her foil and the urban raccoons, who so often came into the yard to get under her skin at 3 in the morning, will no longer have such pleasure. We love you Sadie.
