Hoshi

A donation was made in memory of Hoshi by Doctors and Staff of the Elliott Bay Animal Hospital on Apr 14, 2009.

Hoshi Bucatini was a young Shiba Inu pup who entered the world on June 13, 2006, and our lives on August 8, 2006. When we went to pick him up, we had the choice of him or his brother, and for some reason we knew right away that this particular pup was our Hoshi. Unlike most Shibas, Hoshi had a thoroughly sunny personality: he was all frolic, all the time, and happy to be beta to our alpha Shiba, Stella. But poor Hoshi had aortic stenosis that developed into heart disease that took him from us on April 6, 2009. He didn’t make it to his third birthday, but he had plenty of time to steal our hearts. We hold a firm opinion that delightful creatures like Hoshi should be immortal! But failing that, we were glad to have him as long as we could, and glad that he got such excellent care at Elliott Bay Animal Hospital with his doctor, Heather Weihl, DVM, and her great colleagues and staff. Hoshi was the happiest of dogs!
