Buddy was my constant companion for the last 16 years. Unfortunately, we had to put him to sleep on October 25th of last year due to cancer. Buddy and I walked every day, with the exception of rainy or icy weather, for those many years. He always got so excited to go, bringing his favorite squeaky toy in to hurry me along. He enjoyed many vacations to the Oregon coast although he absolutely did not like the water. I miss my kind, loving, gentle friend, who always welcomed me home with a smile and lots of licking, no matter if I was gone five minutes or five days.
