A donation was made in memory of Bailey by
the doctors and staff at Burien Veterinary Hospital on
Feb 23, 2017.
Over the years we have rescued one sweet lab at a time and loved each one dearly; like our children. Bailey was our third lab and little did we know what a special dog we were getting! He had missed so much in the 4 1/2 years before he came to live with us. He had spent most of his days, weeks, months, etc., alone in the backyard pen, without love, attention, training or care. We promised him a different kind of life; full of love, lots of attention and the best of care. He had so much to learn and was so quick to learn it all. Hiking was his favorite activity and visiting all his "friends" at various parks soon became a favorite past-time, too. After those years alone, he was not going to miss any opportunity to spread joy! Our years with Bailey were cut short by serious health issues, but he smiled and forged ahead with his life and set such an example with his courageous spirit through it all. We learned so much from him and will forever miss our sweet Bailey. What a special gift he was and he will never be forgotten.
