A donation was made in memory of Pirate by
the doctors and staff at Desert Veterinary Clinic on
Jan 11, 2022.
14 years ago, during a difficult period for our family, I took my 10 and 15 year old daughters to the Humane Society and told them "we are only going to look". That afternoon we came home with an Aussie Shepard / Black Lab mix. My eldest Sarah picked him and Samantha named him Pirate. In many ways he saved us all, and was our loyal and faithful family member until his passing December 2021. We will always cherish our memories of Pirate, and we celebrate his life. Pirate's influence in our lives may be best reflected in Samantha's continuing journey to become a Vet, being offered and accepting entry into the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.
We would like to thank Desert Veterinary Clinic in Richland for the outstanding professional and compassionate care given to Pirate throughout his life. And to the WSU College of Vet. Med. for providing the world-class education to Samantha, which our family see as a continuation of Pirate's legacy.
