A donation was made in memory of Walnut by
the doctors and staff at Loyal Family Veterinary Hospital on

Walnut died young at 10 years and 2 months after his back legs became paralyzed. The last six months of his life were hard because he was hit by a car in Aug. 2022. He had a broken ulna and ultimately dislocated bone. It took 2 surgeries to fix and he was lame. Which probably hastened the spine issues that caused his legs to be paralyzed.
Until then however, he lived a very good life. He was a party boy, rabbit chaser and great walker and explorer. He loved his people, and everyone else. He had a few sworn enemy dogs in his own mind, and very many bestie dogs that he loved to wrestle, chase and play with.
