Ivy Anne was the most loving and sweet cat I’ve ever had. She slept curled up in my arms every night. She was a dainty calico princess and she knew it. She suffered with diabetes for four years and helped me to get out of bed every morning to take care of her instead of wallowing in the grief after my dad passed away. Having to take care of her forced me to get through one of the most difficult times of my life and losing Ivy Anne has left another void in my heart that cannot be filled. I truly believe that when the people and animals we love pass on, that it hurts so much because they take a piece of our soul with them when they go. But I also believe that when we get to heaven, that’s how they find us and make us whole again. Until we meet in Heaven, my dad will look after you now Ivy Anne.
