Stache

A donation was made in memory of Stache by Drs. West, Lehocky, DeBroeck, and Hui at VCA Redwood Animal Hospital on Jan 14, 2019.

Stache was a black and white tuxedo cat that I had gotten as a kitten from the humane society. My mother got him for me before Christmas I believe in 2005. He grew up near a patch of woods were many cats would not come back, but he demanded to be an outdoor cat. Stache would always return home every night. He had a good sense for when it was dinner time or if I told him that he can only be out for 10 minutes to be outside. He was very prompt he would yowel if I slept in on the weekend or my alarm for school or work didn't go off. When I took Stache to live in an apartment he was becoming an older cat and accepted the change fairly well even though he now had a dog to contend with. When he was young he would refuse to use a cat box because he would go outside, but he knew what the cat box was for immediately when in the apartment. I would find Stache snuggled up to the dog sometimes on the bed when he thought no one was looking. Stache had a happy life and was a loving friend.
