Bigfoot

A donation was made in memory of Bigfoot by Doctors and Staff of the Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Clinic on Jun 01, 2012.

Bigfoot left us Thursday May 31st, 2012. He had been sick for quite some time and we realized it was time to end his suffering.

A friend once told me all cats have three names. He was Bigfoot because when he was born his feet seemed disproportionately large, but as he grew it was apparent he was rather long legged instead of big footed. He was Babydoll (to me) because when he was a kitten, while his brothers and sisters played, he was content to sit in the middle of the floor and just stare at me - I fell in love with his little face and his silly chin lines that made him look like he had a mustache. He stared at me that way his whole life. He was Butthead because later in life, after being Top Cat in the neighborhood all his life, he grew old and got his butt kicked by younger male cats around the neighborhood. To deal with it he decided to spray in the house....thus began his life as an outdoor cat. He was quite happy for a couple of years sleeping in his little box in the garage with his food and water, spraying all over our yard and everyone else's too, and coming inside for supervised visits:) When he got sick, he forgot his evil spraying ways and moved back in to live the remainder of his life being spoiled, sleeping on the bed, eating tuna fish with his mom every night, and relaxing in his kitty bed in front of the fireplace.

I will miss you Babydoll. RIP

Patricia G.
