We got Goldie for my son Jeramy. My daughter took Jeramy to a pet store just to look around. He fell in Love with Goldie and really wanted him. Goldie was like a service dog. He would sit on Jeramy's lap when he's up, and sleep in Jeramy's room at night. Jeramy got Goldie a dog bed because "dogs don't sleep on people's bed's they sleep in dog beds. I had got a new Kitten about 3 months before Goldie passed. I had put a cat down about 6 month before that and they got along great. When we had to put Goldie down we had came home and Jeramy had asked where Goldie was and we had to tell him that Goldie had went to Heaven. And still to this day he says that "The one in mom's room sleeps in mom's room, the one in Jeramy's room went to Heaven". He's doing pretty good with it, Don't know when but we'll probably get him another one later.
