Rita was the most independent lady I have ever met. She wasn't crazy about being picked up or overly petted but she was so very happy to see us when we walked though the door. She was protective over us and her brother, Larry, who misses her very much. Not one day goes by that we don't think about her. She was such a joy with the biggest heart and sweetest personality. From the day she came home with me at 12 weeks old to the day she left me at age 15 and 1/2, the time in between were wonderful with her. She will forever be in our hearts. Where ever you are, Rita, I hope you are in a big, green field, zigging and zagging with all the other pups
