Bella was and is a beloved family pet of the Australian Shepherd variety. her life was ended after 630 days. We loved her and anticipated sharing many years of joy. She joined our family, which included our 5 year old female German Shepherd. Bella passed away Nov. 4, 2025 Bella started having seizures in late September, which included paddling, rasping for breath and loss of control of bladder and bowels. In early October seizures came in bunches and lasted several minutes. By early November the seizures were coming every hour or two and Bella was unable to recover between them. Our study online did not give us much hope of a permanent solution, and we could not afford a canine neurologist. It was our diagnosis that she had idiopathic epilepsy. We recalled that weeks before the seizures began, Bella would pace the house most of the night, pant and sometimes just stand and stare at the bed we were in. It was heart breaking, and we could not let it continue. Rest in Peace, little Angel.
