Stanley

A donation was made in memory of Stanley by the doctors and staff at Ravenna Animal Hospital and Green Lake Animal Hospital on Jun 24, 2023.

Stanley and his twin sister Stella were rescued from Hamlin Park in Shoreline at approximately 6 months of age. When I adopted them, they were both extremely feral and had to be very slowly integrated into the household. Stan adapted fairly quickly, but Stella did not and is still quite skittish. She will approach me only if I am sitting or laying down and runs away if I am walking near her. Stan was a beautiful long-haired grey and white tuxedo and quite large. His nickname was La Bette Magnifique (the magnificent beast). He had a larger-than-life personality and became very social. He loved greeting guests and would make his presences known by walking/sitting in laps expecting lots of love and pets and would give love bites to everyone. He is survived by Stella, Buzz and Woody (another set of twins). Even with these three, Stan's absence leaves a whole in my heart.
