A donation was made in memory of Rosebud on
Jul 31, 2015.
I was four months old and had been in three homes before I found my forever home with Liz, and she named me Rosebud.
I was a sweet, friendly kitty and greeted visitors who came to our home. I loved to lay and sleep in a lawn chair on the patio in summer. In cooler weather, I slept under the covers of the bed during the day and with Liz at night.
I survived fatty liver disease in 2005 by Liz force feeding me until I got well. I didn’t like having the syringe pushed into my mouth, but I liked the way she cuddled me to do it. After that there were other times when Liz had reason to force feed me. I would stop eating about two weeks before she went on a trip. Then she started telling me how many dark times she would be gone and I didn’t stop eating before her trips anymore .
In 2010 I had a benign tumor removed from my liver and in the fall of 2014 another tumor had grown. The decision was made to help me go to kitty heaven. Rosebud 1999 - 2014
Rosebud and I had a wonderful run, and I have so many fond memories of my time with her. Now she lives in my heart.
