Beasley

A donation was made in memory of Beasley by Theresa and Charles Bohanon on Jan 22, 2020.

Our Bichon was so much more than a pet. He was a member of our family. He came into our lives during a dark time and immediately brought the light back into our family. Being adopted by a die hard Coug family and given the name Beasley, he was meant to be great...and he exceeded all our expectations. He was a small dog with a personality ten times his size. He loved to run, get dirty, play, swim, eat everything, give kisses and snuggle. He could win over even the biggest small dog critic with his loving and playful personality. If you asked him if he wanted to "Go" his ears would perk up and his tail would start wagging...it didn't matter where we were going, just a long as he got to come along. Beasley became an official Coug living off campus during the '03-'04 school year. He was even seen by the doctors at the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine. The wonderful treatment and kindness he, and we, received while in the hospital will never be forgotten. Our whole family is convinced Beasley had nine lives. He survived more illnesses during his nearly 17 years than most dogs probably could have and somehow still kept his puppy-like zest for life. He came into our family when we needed him the most and it wasn't until he knew we would be okay without him that he quietly slipped away. He left us the exact same way he entered our lives...calmly snuggled into our arms, surrounded by love. Part of our hearts will always be with him but, we are comforted knowing he's running and jumping, pain free, in Heaven's backyard patiently waiting for his humans to meet him over the Rainbow Bridge. We will love you always Beasley...
