Chelsea

A donation was made in memory of Chelsea by Doctors and Staff of the not recorded on Oct 08, 2008.

I adopted Chelsea in March of 2006, shortly before Easter, from a shelter that euthanizes based on space requirements. She was sort of awkward-looking, and with Easter right around the corner, I knew she would lose her space to a bunch of baby bunnies. I took her home and never looked back.

Over the years, she was great company for my older bunny Oliver, although he was half her size and twice her age. Her quirky, sassy personality blossomed quickly, and she made me laugh on a daily basis. Never short on mischief, she was always making her presence known. I will never forget how beautiful she was, and when she lent me her trust, how soft she was as well. She is painfully missed, and I thank you again for helping me show my love for my sweet bunny Chelsea.

Comments: Chelsea was a roommate of mine for some time. I remember the day she left the shelter and established her home; she ws scared and hated the idea of a bath. I remember a day when she chewed through my computer wires and placed her mark on my bed. I also remeber the few occasions she felt at home, always evidenced by the barbie doll stokes of her long ears. Most of all I remeber what Chelsea taught me; how an abandoned animal can become part of a family she also creates.
