Here is the last family photo taken of Buddy. He was not quite 9 when we had to put him down. He was our first boxer. He had a rough beginning as my wife rescued him off the street. He had been permanently injured in a car accident before we had him. We had Buddy for 7 years. 5 years ago, we lost our home to fire. Buddy was there to wake everyone up and watch that everyone was accounted for. We all miss him a lot. We have many happy memories of Buddy. He was a good dog and a good protector of the house. He was definitely an integral part of the family.
