Louie
A donation was made in memory of Louie by Lisa Newnham DVM on Sep 30, 2024.
My wife adopted Louie in 2004 when we were dating and finishing up college degrees in Kansas from a home in Victoria Kansas. She was searching for a black cat and a coworker told her about a new black kitten ready to be adopted from a family. When she visited the home Louie was clawing his way up the drapes and she knew Louie was for her.
We stayed in Kansas for 2 years after Louie’s birth where we then moved to Western Washington, with Louie.
We then got married, had 2 children and Louie was there for it all.
Louie was a tough Kansas farm cat. He was loyal, tough, gentle yet feisty, loud, lovable cat. He’d swipe at you, then come snuggle under your chin at night.
He passed just 4 days shy of his 20th birthday. Losing Louie was tough especially after he was in our lives for 20 years, but we will remember him always.
