JUNIOR--
(Bo, Junior) our "sweet" baby boy (even though he was 10 years old), but always our "sweet" baby boy -- passed away on October 5th, 2011, in the good hands of all the special people at the Amherst Animal Hospital. In July, Junior was diagnosed with severe arthritis on his spine, which was causing paralysis in his hind legs; he went for laser therapy twice a week and during that time was in the good hands of all the special people at the Animal Care Center. This treatment along with medication was able to keep him pain free and provide him with a quality life; with this treatment and his will to live and to please, he continued on. In the end, Junior passed away with lung cancer (that none of us saw, because we focused on his paralysis and keeping him pain free), he passed away quickly without any suffering.

My husand and I always joked that he was the baby of six (he was boxer #6 for us, we adopted all ages from a Boxer Rescue in Denver, Colorado); this "sweet" boy never did anything wrong! We got him as a pup, as the rescue did not have a white boxer at the time of the loss of our first white boxer (Bo), hence, the JUNIOR. This "sweet" boy got into much mischief during his 10 years of life, and we always turned a cheek :) -- One special memory, he got into a whole garbage bag of red powder concrete dye, he was maroon, then pink (for quite a few months) after his bath, all right at Easter time, and might I had he is indoors 24/7, so you know what color our carpet turned! And chew...oh yes, this "sweet" thing could chew -- two trailer wire hookups underneath a pickup, the gear shift inside the pickup. Have many more memories, and he was still our "sweet" baby boy!

Junior had so much spirit and personality! He got attention whever he went and was such a pleaser! He touched many lives, family, friends and strangers too -- while driving in our jeep, this "sweet" boy would put a smile on everyone's face. He was always kind and gentle, the children, elderly, anyone could give him a treat and he would just nibble it out of your fingers. He LOVED living....he dictated our day -- walks, sitting in front yard to watch all the people, rides, just snuggling -- this "sweet" boy lived each day to it's fullest!

We will all miss him so much, the greetings at the door when we get home, snuggling at bedtime/naptime, breakfast/lunch/dinner (this "sweet" boy could eat!) -- he could even 'oink like a pig. He also had "special" babysitters (his Montana babysitter and his Arizona babysitters). He was a lucky boy, as were all of us to have him with us for 10 years!

P.S. We chose the photo of him in the car, because the car rarely moved without him in it :)
