A little about Chance: He was a rescue from Bulldog Haven NW and was considered to be about 1 year old. He was surrendered in October 2013 and had been severely neglected. He had mange, an embedded collar, cloudy eyes, mites, ears infections, severely underweight and the worst of all, he did not have pads on his feet. After 4 months of rehab, he was ready to be adopted and he found his way into our home in March 2014. Although the beginning of his life was less than desirable, he was still an amazing loving dog, that just wanted to be near his people and fur sister. In August 2014 he was diagnosed with kidney failure and was given 3-6 weeks, but on a daily dose of meds we were able to keep his numbers down and Dr. Heather Weihl called him a miracle boy who just had an amazing desire to live. But alas, in September 2015, his numbers started increasing drastically and it was at this time, we knew it was time for him to go to rest and run free. He touched a lot of people, more than I ever imagined a dog could do. He is dearly missed.
