We lost our beloved labrador of 12 1/2 years and to help heal our broken heart, we got a new puppy. We named him "Duke." We loved him from the instant we brought him home. He was adorable and lovable. But, we couldn't figure out why he kept throwing up. After several visits to the vet, he was diagnosed with megaesophagus. We tried everything in our power to save him, but in the end, he was just suffering too much. Although we only had "Duke" for a little over a month, he will be in our hearts forever. We will always miss him, but know that he is now in heaven with our other dog!
