Sky was an affectionate, inquisitive cat and the best snuggler I've ever known. His purrs sounded like the cooing of a dove. He was my constant companion for 13 years. He lived with me in six different homes in four different states and once made a five-day cross-country trip with me. An escape artist, Sky ran away from home three times, scaring me half to death, but he always came back after a few days. My daughter grew up with Sky, and it makes me sad that we lost him just as their relationship was beginning to develop. Sky was deeply loved by his family, and we will remember him fondly always.
