Dear WSU Pet Memorial Program,
Thank you for your letter of recognition that my veterinarian Queen Anne Animal Clinic has made a donation in Kiara's memory. She was a very special little kitty who took care of everyone she came across, including laying on the chest of her "Grandma" (my mom) during cancer chemotherapy treatment, and of course always being by my side for 13 years, from age 21 when I got her as a ktten. She enjoyed climbing trees and chasing bugs in her youth, and taking naps in the sun in her later years. Kiara spent her last weekend basking in the sun in rare 70 degree April weather in Seattle, while taking nibbles from fresh barbecued sockeye salmon.
Here is a photo for your website from her last day in the sun. Thank you for remembering Kiara, and for providing world-class care for animals.
