The week before Christmas we made the heartbreaking decision to ease the suffering of our beloved Golden Retriever Buddy. How do you say goodbye to a dog who was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a wonderful companion to my husband and me during our empty-nester years and a protective and loving friend to our three grandchildren! Buddy was dubbed by a friend as our neighborhood "Strawberry Hill Goodwill Ambassador" and he was! We miss him terribly, but treasure all of our happy memories.
