Henry

A donation was made in memory of Henry by the doctors and staff at Green Lake Animal Hospital on Nov 19, 2020.

I had Henry shy of 3 months, but I loved him hard. He was rescued by Old Dog Haven as he was placed in the shelter not only once, but at least twice according to their records. He was surrendered in horrible shape-skin and bones, had a UTI, FB, and as his DVM said the "Worst mouth he had seen in over 30 years of practice". After a much needed dental, he would paw feverishly at his mouth and after every test and trial, I decided it was time for him to find eternal piece. Often we hope by making a choice to remove old rotten teeth that it’s going to make a dog feel better, but there are the chances that sometimes it doesn’t, and that’s a chance we take. My goal from the beginning, by taking a blind and horribly neglected senior dog, was to make sure that he was loved before he left this place. Thank you for all you do to help animals. In loving memory of my boy, Henry.
