Nicholas had quite a life – he was given to my mom at Christmas 1992 by my brother, hence his name. He was a wonderful dog for my mom and brother for many years in California. My mom has alzheimers and Nicholas came to live with us here in Washington a year ago September. He enjoyed his life here in the Northwest with many walks and sharing his home with Aussy (our dog). He escaped from our yard his 2nd week here and was taken in by a kind neighbor who hoped they could keep him – so he was called Hope for two days until we could find him and bring him back home. In his 16 years, he was loved by all those who knew him and he will be greatly missed!
