A donation was made in memory of Ward on
Nov 15, 2013.
I picked him to become my partner in Search and Rescue K-9. Named him Ward after looking for a name that would fit with his duties when he grew up as protector of the incident. From six weeks old till fives years old he was taught to track down and locate lost humans. At Five years old he started his second career as a teacher and spokes dog for our team as the Public Relations member for the team. He spent the next two half years of his life making everyone he met smile and warming the hearts and souls of every person he met. Till he was injured and retired to spend the last years of his life at home with me. Throughout his whole life he showed me what devotion loyalty honor and on conditional love truly was. He was more than just a pet a partner even a member of the family he was a friend.. I was forced to show the same strength my friend showed me all these years and help him as he helped and comforted me. It was not a day to say goodbye or even mourning it more till I see you again my dearest four-legged friend.
