----Tiger----
Tiger was one of my closest friends for the duration of my childhood. She lived to be roughly twenty years old and passed suddenly due to a stroke. During the last couple of years of her life, she struggled with chronic kidney disease but it never seemed to impact her mood. Tiger was a beautiful brown tabby with white socks that I adored. She was loud, needy, and drooled all over anyone within reach but it made her even more perfect to anyone who knew her. I can say confidently that she was the kindest cat I have ever met. She never hissed or growled at me or any other person. Looking back, she showed unwavering patience with me as a child, I have not heard of many cats that would allow a four-year-old to cart them around all day. She was a sweet girl, who took great joy in using her elderly charm as a means to steal food from house guests. I will always miss having her sit on my shoulders while she "helped" me fulfill tasks around the house. I miss how she was the only cat I had ever heard of holding someone's hand, or how even in her final days she was still trying her damndest to pull my cereal out of my hands. I loved her so much, and I can say with absolute certainty that she felt the same, and for that, I will always be grateful. May she rest in peace.
