Daisy

A donation was made in memory of Daisy by the doctors and staff at Valley Veterinary Hospital on Mar 17, 2025.

We adopted Daisy from the animal shelter when she was 4 years old. She was an owner surrender because they claimed she was destructive. It turns out she just didn't want to be left alone in a house all day. Daisy was the perfect dog from the day we brought her home quickly settling into our routine. If we had to leave she would just sit outside and enjoy the scenery. She loved to run and go for walks - 10-15 miles daily. She actually walked over 10 miles the day she got sick. She loved people, other dogs, farm animals and found cats to be interesting as long as they didn't run from her. She enjoyed going to the gym getting pets and smiles from everyone. She was so well behaved and smart. We don't really know what happened the night she fell down against a wall but after that episode she just wasn't the same. We let her crossover a few days later in dignity and peace. We miss her so much. There are so many wonderful dogs in the shelter - please give them a chance.
