Blaze

A donation was made in memory of Blaze on Dec 23, 2008.

In all the 12+ years we had him he was wonderful.

We got him when he was too young to leave his mother so we had to waite for 2 weeks or so before we could bring him home; he has been wonderful ever since.

He knew how to ask for things, like his meals and when he wanted out. He lived in the house with us and had his own room and bed.

We took walks together in the park and boy did he love those walks.

Comments: I don't have a particular story about Blaze. He was just a big, friendly, sweet and loving being. He was committed to his family and they were committed to him. They enjoyed Blaze and Blaze had a wonderful life. I have never been a dog person, and I doubt that I will ever have a dog, but Blaze actually made me consider and still makes me consider dogs as a choice for my next pet. I loved Blaze and I miss him. My whole family does.

Comments: Blaze was a big gentle loving dog. He was scared to death of my bulldog, Churchill, though. His pet parents had to take him home from a campout one time because Churchill wanted to play with him. We all loved Blaze and enjoyed him at the campouts. He alway went with his pet parents in the truck. He will be missed.

Comments: I remember one night driving to my parent's house for Christmas. I got there very late, about 3am. Blaze was there to greet me with his cold nose and warm tongue. Any other dog would have barked at someone breaking in at 3am, but not Blaze, he just wanted love.
