Oliver came to me as a young cat 17 years ago. He became the new member in a group of 5 older cats. He was not the social type, with them. He tolerated them, and they pretty much ignored him. As each one of the older cats passed, Oliver became more sure of himself. He loved to sit in the window and sun himself. The last 5 years he was the only cat, he did not want any feline friends, now that he was number one. He loved nothing more than to be in your lap, happily curled up for hours. He was always the most loving an affectionate cat, he behaved more like a dog than a cat. We loved him dearly. Letting him go was the right thing for Oliver, but one of the hardest things I have ever done. He was a little old man in a black fur coat, I miss him so much. Be waiting for me Ollie.
