I had Charlie since he was just a month old and had the pleasure of him being in my life for almost 15 years and most of that time it was just the two of us. He was always a pretty hyperactive dog and was a challenge at times, but his personality was truly unique. When I first picked him up, he grabbed onto my arm with his front legs and at rest he would sit with his legs crossed looking so distinguished. His last few years was some of the hardest for me and I still struggle with his loss and find myself wishing I had given him more time but the reality of it was he was likely suffering for a long time and from the outside looking in I probably should have let him go sooner, I'll always miss and wish I had more time with him.
