Our good dog, Copper, was with us the better part of 15 years. To look back at his time with us is to also reminisce on our son’s childhood because these two grew up together. Such wonderful memories, but alas, that is what makes this goodbye so difficult. Copper wore many hats – he was a farm dog, show dog, hunting dog, therapy dog, family dog, but most of all he was a boy’s best friend. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of special pets in our lives. Thank you, Copper, for being a loyal and faithful friend. Run free.
