Rosie's Story
Rosie was found in a busy parking lot in April of 2006 by a neighbor of ours. The neighbors were moving soon, so a chance encounter at the mailbox was all it took, Rosie was ours. Rosie was not in the best physical shape. She had had many litters of puppies. Rose was not socialized, she was not potty trained, she was terrified of being in a crate, and affection was very foreign to her. She was quickly showered with love and much needed medical attention.
Rosie became a source of love, humor, & joy. She was the ultimate lap dog, she never found a lap she didn't love. She also won the hearts of everyone she met. Family and friends came to love her sweet spunky spirit. She was always in the heart of the action, she was always there. She had an amazing ability to let go of her past and embrace her new life. She was forgiving of people and grateful for love.
Rosie passed away suddenly on February the 14th 2011. Her death has been devastating. She was a tiny little creature, with a personality that filled our home and whose absence is enormous.
We never knew where she came from, we never knew how old she was, but we knew that she was our baby girl and when she came to us she changed our lives and we are forever grateful that we were forever home.
