This is Sarah, she was a small, but powerful presence in our home for her last 5 years. When she came to us from rescue her owner had passed away and no one wanted to be bothered with her anymore. They took her to the shelter to have her put to sleep, but she wasn't ready and the shelter sent her to Seattle Pug Rescue. We were supposed to be her foster parents, but we are foster failures and we immediately fell in love with her. She had challenges, but she still lived life with gusto, she wanted to be boss and she was hard to deny. Even in her last year when she became pretty immobile, she barked her orders to us and we did as she commanded. There will never be another Sarah in our hearts and she is missed.
