Gus Anderson loved chasing balls, riding in cars and sleeping on my bed. Half Great Dane half Black Lab and all puppy his entire 15 year life. Ran like Secretariat, fielding balls like a pro shortstop. He had expressive eyes and loved talking out the car window at stop signs. Not barking, talking. Always looking for a cookie. He left this world at peace, on his bed in front of the fireplace with me holding his head while my wonderful Home Visit Vet Dr. Cathey ended his fight with cancer and a brain tumor. His cremains lie beside his buddy Chewy and they both will go with me into whatever is next in life. He was always at the door with a toy in his mouth when I came home. He was my favorite hello and my hardest goodbye. I will miss him every day and he will never leave my heart. Rest easy Gus, see you soon.
