Rowdy

A donation was made in memory of Rowdy by Alison Jensen on Aug 05, 2010.

My beloved Sheltie boy, Rowdy passed away in my arms. He had cancer, two kinds the Dr said. He was a brave ,loving and loyal part of my family. He was a friend to everyone he met and was loved back in return. He was so energetic for ten and one-half years. He loved chasing the garbage truck on mondays. ups and fedex trucks any day. He loved stealing your socks but only if he knew you were watching so that you would chase after them.(He was always inside the fence when he was chasing but it was fun to him just the same} I will always love him and honor his life. I wanted to keep him forever but it was not in Gods plan We are all having a hard time without him,he was so smart and loving and his sister Ashley is grieving also. If anyone reads this and has lost a beloved pet please drop me a note,. I miss him so much. I miss his big brown eyes and the way he tilted his head when we were talking. He was my soul mate and i will neverquit missing him.

jan, Rowdys loving Mom

Comments: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. After reading your story of Rowdy it is obvious he was very loved & in turn loved you as well. Love is the greatest gift we have to give and it enriches our lives as well as our pet's lives. Our pet's love is unconditional, and they thrive with attention & love given to them. During his illness your wonderful pet Rowdy sensed your love and concern and it gave him comfort. All pure love has only one source and that is from the creator himself that created all that is good. So as pet owners we thank the Lord for the lovely gifts granted us that enrich our lives. In time the hurt will be replaced by fond memory of your wonderful pet Rowdy because the joy he brought far exceeds the sadness of his final days. Because of love the memory of Rowdy is not lost but is a treasure in our hearts.
