We lost our sweet kitty Gabby in October. I always felt so honored that she picked us, because she has such a special personality. After I lost my cat Boo in April 2000, a fellow cat lover, Val, wrote me some kind words. She and I discussed religion a lot and the after life. I told her that no one had ever contacted me from beyond, at that time. Sadly, Val was killed in an accident in October 2000. A week later, Gabby showed up on our porch railing, talking to me through the window. Eventually she started living with us. I always thought Val sent Gabby to me.

Gabby actually had only half of one of her fangs (until we had necessary dental work for her in the last couple of years). Initially we called her Gabby One Fang. She always talked to us a lot, and loved to bring us gifts, if not a bird or mouse than a catnip toy, or even an 18" teddy bear. I will always miss her. She is my heart.
