Amy

A donation was made in memory of Amy by Dr. Coleman at Puget Park Veterinary Clinic on Oct 27, 2025.

How can you sum up 15 years of love and friendship in just a few words or sentences? From the moment I first got her at 4 weeks old, Amy was the best girl there ever was. Unfalteringly sweet. Friends with everybody she met. Wanting to be part of the fun no matter where we were going or what we were doing. Smart as a whip. The years that she shared her unconditional love with me helped get me through the end of my teen years and guided me through all of my 20s. I wasn't always the most patient or understanding towards her, and for that I'll always have regrets. But she taught me so much and did it all with a smile that could melt anybody's heart. From her love of tennis balls to her obsession with water and never-ending stomach always ready for treats, there was nothing on this earth that didn't find a home in her heart. I can only hope that she can forgive me for my mistakes and that she's watching over me from above. Because if it's true that all dogs go to heaven, then she had a seat up there from the moment she was born. I'm heartbroken that she can't join me on my next adventure and that I can't guide her on her next. I can only hope that we meet again in the next life and do it all over again.
