My beloved Fergie age 19 passed away yesterday at home. After a fighting a courageous battle against CRF. I can not say enough how much peace I have from knowing she was so well cared for by Fair Isle Animal Clinic. There is an emptiness I feel right now but I know she is in a better place. She is no longer suffering. Watching an animal suffer is gut wrentching. She could no longer get up. The care she received in her final months of life and love she gave me over the years was priceless. I was able to give my amazing cat the chance to sit on a warm summer day in the grass. As life wound down her face looking up at me at that moment made me cry. I have such respect for animal caretakers. Fergie you will be missed but I know you are in heaven now with Lady Diana.
