Kiki was the last of our Finnish Spitz family which at one point included 3 generations. She was an energetic and loving dog that liked to chase and bark at squirrels in the yard, and sleep between my wife and I at night. After an ailment in June 2025 and a subsequent visit to the WSU clinic in October it was determined that Kiki had stomach cancer. The staff at WSU, in particular Dr. Shannon Monaco, helped diagnose and provided guidance on medications that helped Kiki survive through the holidays. We lost her on January 6.
