One bright day I wandered into an animal shelter and it was there I found Rudy. When I held him I was impressed with his calm disposition, and I liked his cute face, orange & white fur and his stubby tail. And so I left with 5 month old Rudy in tow, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. As this happy, playful kitten grew up he never stopped being affectionate (the perfect lap cat), and his spunky personality was always a joy. When at age 12 he lost a front leg to cancer, he bounced back, keeping the same sweet personality and adjusting quite well to walking on 3 legs. And so went life with my little companion until, at age 18, old age took its toll and he passed away. I am not the only one who misses Rudy, for he has a family of fans. But despite the sorrow, I know how lucky I am to have had such a wonderful little buddy.
