Edgar

A donation was made in memory of Edgar on Apr 08, 2015.

We had only lived in Longview for a few months when we first went into a little pet store on Washington Way just to look at the animals without any intention of buying one. There were lots of kittens and puppies, but also two nearly full grown cats that roamed the store freely - leftover kittens that nobody had bought.

A tiger striped cat, probably not even a year old, leaped onto my fiance Josh's shoulders, and rode on them throughout our entire trip through the store, he was just the weirdest cat either of us had ever encountered. Over the next few months we kept going back to see him, until finally we had been going in so much it became obvious that we needed to buy him because we were hopelessly attached.

We named him Edgar, and even after we brought him home with us, he was still just as peculiar as when he used to jump up onto our shoulders in the pet store. He was a very sweet cat.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to share Edgar's little story, he sure did mean a lot to us.

Heather and Josh M. & C.
