Chase

A donation was made in memory of Chase by Dr. DeMaris, Dr. Bauman, Dr. Murphy, Dr. Schultz and the entire staff at Alpine View Veterinary Hospital on Apr 10, 2018.

Sunrunners Yes I Can was born August 31, 2010 and was known by all who loved him as "Chase". He fought twice with cancer and we were given a year in between occurrences but the second tumor was not treatable.

Chase was my noble sentinel. He was a mamma's boy. As a Gordon Setter, a gun/bird dog breed, he would naturally range out in front on our walks. Chase would always stop and look back and make sure I was coming. When strangers came to the house, he was protective and always placed himself between me and anyone who may not have belonged. Chase was a big boy and I'm certain God gave him a big body to house his big heart. I'm going miss our snuggles, and your purring when you would do your best to fit as a lap dog and express your enjoyment of being held and petted. I am so very grateful for the time we had with you. Your goodness and pure heart truly made me a better person. RIP Chase, my noble sentinel. Chase leaves behind his litter mate Selena who misses him dearly.
